Worship Information
At Valley Church, we worship with a blend of traditional and contemporary styles. Bible-based teaching and classic Christian hymns are combined with contemporary Praise and Worship songs, drama, and the visual arts for a compelling and inclusive worship service. Services include music, prayer, scripture readings, and teaching. A special time of Intercessory prayer is offered each week, and is a time when anyone can request special prayers for joys or concerns in their lives. We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion once a month, and offer the elements to all who profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
From September to June we also offer a separate Children's Worship, for grades K - 5, with age appropriate messages and activities. Children participate in opening Worship hymns and praise songs before being released to Children's Church for the remainder of worship time.
Worship services last approximately 1 hour, and there is a time of fellowship immediately afterwards with coffee and refreshments.
Worship Schedule
Worship services are are held every Sunday at 10:30 AM. We offer Sunday School Classes for all ages from 9:15 - 10:15 AM. Click on the Sunday School link for more information about curriculum and Adult class topic schedule. During the summer months, we worship at 10:00 AM, with no Sunday School program. We have no mid-week or Sunday evening services, but encourage everyone to participate in our Small Group Ministry and special events.
