Valley Church Sunday School Program
Valley Church offers Sunday School options for all ages in 3 categories: Children, High School, and Adult. See the sections below for more details on each age group.
Childrens Sunday School
Children's Sunday School is for grades Pre-K through 8, and is broken into classes of Pre-School, K/1st, 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th, and 6th through 8th. Classes are taught by Valley Church Members with considerable teaching experience and a strong Christian knowledge. We utilize a curriculam provided by CRC publications called 'Walk With Me'. High School
The High School Class is for grades 9-12. This class covers a wide range of topics from classic Bible stories, to discussion regarding current events. Discussion will often delve into those 'sensitive' areas of teens lives, including relationships, peer pressure, drugs/alcohol, and sexuality. The goal of the High School class is to affirm a strong foundation of Biblical understanding, while helping teens to create a Christian identity and World View.
Adult
The Adult class cover a variety of topics and subject matter. Recent classes have included fundamental Bible study utilizing the Kerygma program, an in-depth examination of World religions, and a study of the history of the Christian Reformed Church. Adult class s intended to be both educational, as well as provide Adults an opportunity for a time fellowship and assurance with other Christians.
