WE ENTER INTO GOD’S PRESENCE
Preparation for Worship
*Call to Worship – Zephaniah 3:17
*Invocation
O Lord, our God, like a loving mother you are always more ready to give your good gifts to us than we are to seek them, and you are willing to give more than we desire or deserve.  Help us so to seek that we may truly find, so to ask that we may joyfully receive, so to knock that the door of your mercy may be opened to us through Jesus Christ, our Savior.  Amen.
*Song of Praise – 432:1,3,4 “For the Beauty of the Earth”
*God Greets Us
*We Greet Others
*Continuing Praise
Open the eyes of my heart
I could sing of Your love forever
Lord most high

Call to Confession
We are all sinners in need of forgiveness.
Forgive the sins of word, the sins of deed, and the sins of the heart.
We all have our own personal areas of sin and struggle.
Forgive the sins we now lay before you silently.
(Silent prayer)
Restore us, O Lord God of hosts;
let your face shine, that we may be saved.
Celebration of the Lord’s Supper
The Lord Jesus celebrated this holy supper with those who would soon deny him and abandon him.  Yet he did not turn from them but loved them to the end.  He loves us too.  This is the joyful feast of the people of God!
People will come from east and west, from north and south, and sit at table in the kingdom of God.
When our Lord was at table with his disciples, he took the bread, and blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.  Having blessed it, he gave them the cup also.
This is the Lord’s table.  In faith we come to share the feast he has prepared for his forgiven and hungry children.
The gifts of God for the people of God.
The body of Christ, given for you.
Thanks be to God.
The blood of Christ, shed for you.
Thanks be to God.
