Ann De Jager will begin her chemo this Monday.  Pray both that she will tolerate the treatments well and especially that the chemo will remove any possible cancer that may remain in her body following the surgery.

Pray for Aiden Wood and his family as he recovers from the surgery he had in Rochester last week.  Pray that there are no complications and that he recovers quickly and completely.

There will be a coffee hour following the service today as we say farewell to Jim and Louise La Gro, who are moving this week to their new home in Arizona.  They do plan to be back here summers, living with their daughter and family in Vestal during the summer months.  May God bless them as they settle in to a new community and new church family in Phoenix.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:  9:45 AM  Classes for all ages meet today and each Sunday.  There’s a class appropriate to your age and interest.  The adult class continues an eight-week study “Developing a Heart for God” based on the wisdom literature in the Old Testament.  Let’s all take advantage of the opportunities we have to grow together in God’s Word.

MORNING WORSHIP:     11:00 AM  Pastor Gelder will bring the message “Listen!”, based on John 1:43-51.  This is the second message in a series on “Words that Become Habits”, taking words we lightly say to other people and encouraging us to see them as a vital part of our relationship with God.
We will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper next Sunday morning.  Take time this week to examine your heart and your life so you can fully receive the gift God gives his people.
Alex Peterson will publicly profess his faith in Jesus as personal Savior and Lord.
The second offering will be for the CHOW ministry of the Broome County Council of Churches.
