WE ENTER INTO GOD’S PRESENCE
Preparation for Worship
*Invocation
O living Lord, on the first Easter Day you stood in the midst of your disciples as the conqueror of sin and death and spoke to them your peace.
Come to us, we pray, in your risen power and make us glad with your presence.
Breathe your Holy Spirit into our hearts that we may be strong to serve you and spread abroad your good news, for the glory of your great name.
Amen.

Prayer of Confession
Dear Jesus, we are like sheep, and we get lost. We forget the needs of our neighbors and do not love you above all else. We need a Savior, so we long for you, Jesus. Come, fill our lives. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon
In the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, we are assured that there is no sin so terrible that God cannot forgive, no hurt so terrible that God cannot heal. God accepts, God forgives, and God sets free. Receive the forgiving love of God.
Thanks be to God!

May our generous giving encourage them and their congregation, also as they plan for special meetings to which they will be inviting other Indonesian churches next weekend.
Today there is another “Soup and Bread” lunch after the morning service. All are welcome to stay for this simple but enjoyable time of fellowship. Following the lunch, Ron Crawford will again present the material he has prepared on “Generations” and how understanding the different generational groups in society and in our church can help us live and work together better. If you weren’t able to attend when he presented this in February or if you want to take it in again, here’s your opportunity.
