NEXT SUNDAY, October 31, 2010
SUNDAY SCHOOL: 9:15 AM Classes for all ages from pre-school through adult are meeting. You are encouraged to join a class appropriate to your age and interest. The adult class continues a video-assisted study of “The Gospel in Life” by Tim Keller.
MORNING WORSHIP: 10:30 AM Pastor Gelder will lead our worship, continuing the series of messages from Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. We will be focusing on Ephesians 4:17-32 “Holy Spirit Holiness.” This is also Reformation Sunday so we will be recalling the reforming of the church and the renewed emphasis on Scripture, faith and grace.
There will be a special second offering for Operation Christmas Child. Remember that it costs $7.00 per box for the processing and shipping needed to get these gift boxes to children around the world, as well as to provide a Gospel message with each box. If we pack 70 boxes, that will cost almost $500. Please be generous.
Operation Christmas Child is still receiving shoe boxes and items of all kinds (school supplies, hygiene items, toys and “other stuff”) to fill the boxes. You can place your contributions in the box in the entry. Remember that these boxes will go to children. The boxes will be packed on Nov. 7 and blessed and sent off on Nov. 14.
