Prayer of Confession  -
All:  Lord, we cannot come into your holy presence, for our walk is not blameless and we do not always speak the truth from our hearts. Sometimes we slander others and cast slurs on our fellow humans. We fail to keep our oaths. We are guilty of all of these transgressions. Speak to us a word of grace and assurance. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
