Our worship this morning is led by elder Bill Kutz. We thank him for bringing us God’s Word and for leading us in the worship of our loving Lord.
You are invited to stay following the worship this morning to enjoy refreshments in honor of the 25th wedding anniversary of Paul Redfern and Carol Reynolds. Congratulations and we wish them God’s continued blessings in the coming years. Their anniversary is February 24.
Tuesday, 7:00 PM Deacons meet
Pastor Gelder will be offering a class for all young adults and adults who are interested in exploring what it means to be a member of Valley Church. The class will start next Sunday, February 24 at 4:00 PM. Attending the class does not mean you have made a final decision to join the church. All who are interested in learning more what the Christian Reformed Church teaches and how it operates are invited. There will be a class for children interested in professing their faith later in the spring.
The Gelders are out of town this week, planning to return on Friday afternoon. Please contact an elder if you have a special pastoral care need during their absence.
We extend our Christian sympathy to Bob Hufford and his children Vicki and Keith as they mourn the death of their wife and mother, Leila Seeley Hufford. They worshipped with us a few years ago before moving to Richmond, Virginia.
Also, Don and Liz Beezhold appreciate your continued prayers for them as Liz has received word that her cancer has reappeared. The Beezholds too are former Valley members who now live in West Virginia.
PLAN AHEAD NOW! Valley Church will be hosting the annual Women’s Retreat on Saturday, April 26. Now is the time to start inviting your friends and neighbors to consider an “Ultimate Makeover”. Retreat leader will be the Rev. Tineke Cornelison from Rochester.
ATTENTION YOUTH: Don’t miss the big Leap Night activity planned for next week Friday, Feb. 29. See Erin, Amy or Dan for more information. If you can help with part of the evening or morning, that’s appreciated too.
