THIS WEEK IN THE LIFE OF VALLEY CHURCH
This morning our worship includes the observance of Holy Communion.  Jesus gave this gift to his church.  Therefore if you are a member of the body of Christ and are serious about your walk with Christ, please feel free to take the bread and cup as they are passed to you.  We will eat and drink together after all have been served.

The second offering this morning is a reverse offering for CHOW.  When the plate is passed, please take one or more of the slips of paper that are in it and then next Sunday bring those items to church to help meet our community goal of 10,000 food items collected by the time the Sea to Sea tour comes to Binghamton.  Thank you for your generous support of this ministry to needy families in our community.

Wednesday, 10:30 AM  Women’s picnic at Sue Brown’s cottage.  See Sue for directions and information about what to bring.
Saturday, 2:00 – 5:00 PM   Kids for Christ activity at church

Kids for Christ are meeting at church Saturday afternoon from 2-5 PM for a fun-filled, Christ-centered time.  Please use the paper on the table in the entry to indicate how many of your children are planning to attend, so there will be enough supplies for the activities planned.

In just over two weeks about two hundred bike riders plus their support crew will be arriving in Binghamton as they near the end of the Sea to Sea tour.  Many of them will have been riding fifty-nine days while traveling 3,680 miles, all for the cause of breaking the cycle of poverty.  We want them to receive a memorable welcome when they get here and we need all of you to help with this.  Thank you for your participation.
